The Evans High School Homework Centre is a program that aims to help the students of Evans High school with the completion of homework and assignments. Its purpose is to provide a safe, secure environment where students are able to access resources needed to complete any school work required.
Homework Centre runs every Monday and Wednesday from 2:45pm - 4:45pm in the library throughout the school term. It is staffed with experienced teachers from a wide range of subject areas in order to best support the needs of each student.
Student’s completion of work is made easier by access to physical resources and technology such as computers. Teachers assist students using the technology whilst teaching research and computer literacy skills.
Homework Centre is especially beneficial for those students seeking extra help with a particular homework problem or assignment. All students are welcome to join Homework Centre with permission from parents or caregivers. They are required to sign an attendance role.
